Moscow, Mar 22 - RIA News. Since March 23, 2020 Russia has been suspending flights to all countries due to the coronavirus disease pandemic, as the Federal Air Transport Agency reported.
An exception will be made for flights from Moscow to the capital cities of other states, as well as charters to evacuate Russian citizens.
According to the latest data, 367 patients with COVID-19 have been registered in Russia, 16 patients recovered, over 52 000 remain under medical observation. In total, over 160 countries are affected in the world by the coronavirus infection sourcing from China: 317 000 people were infected, 13 642 died. The first in the number of deaths caused by COVID-19 is Italy (almost 5 000 people have already died there), followed by China and Spain.
World leaders are taking emergency measures to combat the spread of the virus, imposing emergency situation or regime, and quarantining cities and entire countries.
