Plant A Million Zambia is a social enterprise, which was officially inaugurated by the Zambian President in 2018. The company started producing seedlings in a nursery with a capacity of 5 million plants on the grounds of the Mthunzi Center for street children. We have a holistic approach to create 100,000+ jobs in Africa with our 3E concept (1. Education 2. Economy 3. Ecology). Added to this are the social aspects of promoting education for climate protection through the development of schoolbooks with WWF Zambia and the protection of waterbodies through reforestation of trees, among others with the Lusaka Water Security Initiative (LuWSI) project. We have also been accredited in 2018 to the British Queens Commonwealth Canopy (QCC) initiative, Thomson Reuter Foundation (2019) and certified organisation for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration in 2020.
