Turks & Caicos Sotheby's International Realty team includes the destination’s top producing agents, and traces its roots to Turks & Caicos Realty, which began operations at the beginning of 1990, with Karen Biker as the on-island manager. The firm made its mark in the luxury home real estate market and in 2005, Karen Biker along with partner Buddy Rego joined forces with the Sotheby's International Realty brand to solidify their position in the luxury real estate marketplace.
In parallel, Connolly Zahm Properties, established in 1998, emerged from Joe Zahm's pioneering efforts as the first resort condominium Sales and General Manager on Grace Bay in 1989 into a leading luxury real estate brokerage and consulting firm in Turks & Caicos, specializing in high-end beachfront condominiums. In June of 2009, Connolly Zahm Properties merged with Turks and Caicos Sotheby's International Realty to form a new force in the real estate industry. With Zahm at the helm, the firm is built on our years of experience and reputation for exceptional real estate agents, and customer service.
In January of 2013, our sales force was further enhanced with our merger with Richard Sankar's team of Tropical Paradise Realty, a firm with a solid background in real estate development, commercial and residential sales
