I have doene Unforgettable 6 days of enjoying very fantastic tour in Serengeti National Park to see the greatest Wildebeest migration. On this safari With Winners Expeditions, i have visited the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park.at Serengeti you will have opportunity to watch thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the grassland savannah which is one of Africa’s natural wonders. To increase your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, Winners Expeditions will choose your route and the order of camps according to your time of travel so as to ensure you satisfy .
the itinerary was as follows
Day One (1): Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will meeting your tour guides in the morning, they will peak and drive you to the Tarangire National Park. These is an extensive open savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River characterize the landscape of this beautiful national park. Animals gather at the river line, such as elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests can often be seen also you will be able to spot the fringe-eared oryx or the weird-looking gerenuk. Tarangire is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators including lions. Winners Expeditions vehicles has an open roof and is the ideal viewing platform to appreciate the nature and animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and travel to the Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night, meals and Overnight at Camp or lodge.
Day Two (2) Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After the breakfast you will be taken through Lake Manyara into the fertile Ngorongoro highlands. You will Cross via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will reach the vast open plains of the Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon. Serengeti is famous as home to the Big Five such as elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino, and many other animals. You will enjoy new wildlife sightings and beautiful sceneries during your game drives as no day on safari. Depending on the season, you will either stay one night in the central Serengeti and two nights in the northern Serengeti (June, October) or the southern Serengeti (January and March), or you stay all three nights in the central Serengeti (November and December & April and May) at lodge or camp where you will enjoy meals and rest.
Day Three (3) - Four (4) Serengeti National Park
These two days are all about the great Serengeti, you will learn about animal behavior as well as their social structures. The Serengeti National Park is the third largest park in Tanzania and is stunningly beautiful. While the landscape in the south is characterized by open grassland as far as you can see, open woodlands and hills are predominant in the north and west. Together with the Masai Mara, the Serengeti is host to the Great Migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras, one of the greatest shows on earth. Your will rest and enjoy your meals at Kati Kati Tented Camps. To increase your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, Winners Expeditions choose the best route and the order of camps according to your time of travel.
Day Five (5) Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast you will continue your safari in the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley, you might be lucky to see predators hunting skills as animals gather along the river lines during the dry season. After lunch at a picnic spot, you will slowly take in the direction of the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. This approximate 20 km wide crater is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to over 20,000 animals. You will stay at the Camp / Lodge Ngorongoro on the crater rim where you will be able to enjoy an incredible sunset, rest, enjoying meals and overnight at Lodge or Camp.
Day Six (6): Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will be drive down the steep path into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest, unbroken, and unflooded caldera in the world which support an unbelievable diversity of wildlife. You will see zebras and wildebeests, you might also spot the rare black rhino and other members of the Big Five. The crater is also home to other animals such as hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, eland, and more than 500 bird species. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch or at Ngoitokitok spring, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening.
