Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC is a subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY), a global leader in real estate franchising and a provider of real estate brokerage and services to relocate and establish yourself. In February 2004, Realogy entered into a long-term strategic alliance with Sotheby’s, the operator of the auction house. The agreement made possible the licensing under the name Sotheby’s International Realty and the development of a whole franchise system. Memberships in the system are only granted to real estate intermediaries and individuals who meet strict qualification criteria. Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC supports its affiliates with a suite of operational, marketing, recruiting, educational and business development resources. Franchise affiliates also benefit from their association with the venerable Sotheby’s auction house, founded in 1744.
