Dr. Sanam Kheirieh began her journey in dentistry by earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in Iran in 2005. She worked as a general dentist for six years, during which she developed a passion for research and advanced dental care. Driven to specialize further, Dr. Kheirieh pursued her specialty in Endodontics at the University of Maryland, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science.
Her academic achievements are complemented by her contributions to dental research, particularly in endodontics and dental materials. Dr. Kheirieh has authored numerous publications with nearly 500 citations and has presented her findings at major scientific dental conferences. In recognition of her innovative work, she received the prestigious Sherril Ann Science Endodontic Research Fellowship Award in 2015 for her groundbreaking research on “Nanogel-Based Scaffold In Endodontics.”
