ONSITE AUCTIONEERS Onsite Auctioneers Pvt Ltd is a registered Private Company firm in the Republic of Zimbabwe by the Registrar of Companies in 2019. Auction Sales Auctions are convened every week on Thursdays commencing at 10.00am, occasionally auctions will be convened on selected Saturdays also commencing at 10.00am. Pre-auction viewing is on the respective auction days from 09.00am. Goods sold on auction are presented in a manner that ensures that buyers can bid with absolute confidence. A wide spectrum of goods can be found on any given auction from household/office furniture, industrial appliances, game, cattle, mining and farming equipment to motor vehicles - literally any conceivable moveable asset. We also believe that you are only as good as your last auction, and this ensures that we are constantly striving to improve on all aspects of our business. Our auctions are conducted in accordance with all provisions of the Consumer Protection laws and our administrative system is on par with the best in the industry. Public Auctions We hold Public Auctions throughout the Republic of Zimbabwe. Our services in this field are mostly sort by companies upgrading and modernizing their equipment, Financial institutions disposing of securities, Courts disposing of exhibits and forfeited property, Government corporations disposing of old assets, Storage facility companies as well individuals in need of disposing of old assets including household goods. Onsite Auctioneers are expert when it comes to selling through Public Auctions. We will sell the items you no longer need, be it old households, office furniture, company equipment, items that you consider obsolete name it, we shall assist you at their disposal with a financial return to you. We offer this services at a commission agreed upfront between you and us. Realization of Charged Securities / Property – Property Auctions Charged securities/property are items pledged as security to banks and other financial institutions to act as guarantee that monies advanced to the owners thereof shall be repaid promptly in accordance with the terms of the agreements. The property pledged as security may be movable assets, land and buildings, stock in trade or any other security acceptable to the lender. Understand the T’s & C’s Conditions of Sale and Auction Rules available from registration counter or on our website Familiarize yourself and make sure you understand the contents Understand the buyers commissions & VAT Make sure to listen to the auctioneer’s announcements before and during the auction Do not hesitate to ask questions or advice. Register as a Bidder Complete the registration form at the registration counter before or during the auction. All persons intending to bid on auction must register and be in possession of a valid buyers number. No number = No Bid Pay the cashier a refundable Deposit. Enjoy the auction Lift your hand or buyers card in the air to bid Call out your bid if necessary and attract the auctioneers attention Ensure that you are aware of what you are bidding for If you don’t have a catalogue, now’s the time to go get one! Finalizing your account Request your statement or invoice from the reception counter Pay your outstanding balance or if no purchase has been made, we return your deposit – *Remember to hand in your buyers card All accounts must be finalized and paid in full at the conclusion of each sale or before 12 noon the following day. Collecting your goods Give your paid invoice to one of the floor assistants Collect your goods before 3pm the following day We will gladly assist with loading, if staff members are available. “Insuring our clients has a lasting impression of a great auction sale.” The conditions of sale as applied at ONSITE Auctioneers: The highest accepted bidder shall be the purchaser. The Auctioneer has the right to regulate the bidding. He may furthermore withdraw any item at any time. The Auctioneer does not hold himself responsible for any error in description. A bid shall be taken as proof that the bidder has made him/herself acquainted with the lots for which he/she bids. No goods may be removed until paid for. All bids are exclusive of VAT. All sales are final and voetstoots. The purchaser shall not be entitled to possession of any of the purchases until the total purchase price of all his/her purchases has been fully paid in cash. In the event of the purchaser failing to pay the full purchase price of any lot within the prescribed time or fails to comply with any other terms of sale, the auctioneers shall retain a possessory lien on all lots of the purchaser and have the right to resell such lots for and on behalf of the purchaser by public auction or private sale without the notice of any kind to the purchaser. Should the auctioneers resell any lots, the proceeds there from (after deducting commission and any costs) shall be credited to the original purchaser's account and the original purchaser shall forthwith upon demand, pay to the auctioneers, as damages any deficiency arising from the resale. The auctioneers act merely as agents for and on behalf of the seller and no lawsuits or claims whatsoever can be made against them. In the event of the seller or the auctioneer personally or on the behalf of the seller instituting legal proceedings against the purchaser, the following shall apply: Such proceedings may be at the election of the seller or the auctioneer and will be instituted in a magistrates court having jurisdiction over the person of the purchaser notwithstanding the fact that the claim or the value of the matter in dispute might exceed the jurisdiction of such magistrates court, and The seller or the auctioneer as the case may be shall been titled to claim payment of the legal costs from the purchaser on an attorney and client basis, and The purchaser shall be deemed to have selected and appointed as his domicilium citandi et executandi the address inserted by him/her on the buyers card signed by him/her. A certificate issued under the hand of the auctioneer setting forth the amount arising from of the purchaser's indebtedness in respect of the purchase price due by the purchaser arising from and out of any sale by the auctioneer shall constitute conclusive proof of such indebtedness by the purchaser and shall further constitute a liquid document for the purpose of provisional sentence, summary judgment or otherwise. The purchaser should he/she be the successful bidder on any lots in a representative capacity, hereby binds him/herself as surety and co-principle debtor for all obligations of the concern that he/she represents. Also take note of the following: Voetstoots means that you accept the state or condition that the item or goods are in, whether tested or not, at the time of the sale. Items that have been tested and marked with a tick means that the item has power and was found to be in a fair condition when tested. This however does not constitute any form of warranty or guarantee whatsoever regarding the condition of such items. All buyers are bound by the Conditions of Sale and Auction Rules as well as any announcements made by the auctioneer at the commencement of and during the sale whether or not he/she is present at the time of making such announcements. All sales are final and voetstoots or “as is”. The auctioneer’s vendor roll of sale is final and binding on all buyers. No guarantees, no returns and no refunds. All bids are exclusive of  buyer’s commission plus VAT thereon. A Refundable CASH -Deposit payable upon registration. Only one bidder per buyers number. Items bought on auction that are not removed by the stipulated/announced date and time, will be subject to storage fees calculated per day.
